I bring my little one year old rescue dog “Taffy” to Executive Dog, and we both LOVE it!! Shelley is both helpful and informative, and the place is spotless. Somehow Taffy knows which days she goes, because she is waiting patiently by the door with her tail wagging a mile a minute. What a find!! - Janet & Taffy Fairhaven, MA

Thank goodness for Executive Dog! I used to drive home like a maniac after work to let my dog out. Forget about the days I had to work late, stop at the store or pick up kids. Now I can relax a little more after work and go to the gym, grocery store or meet friends knowing that my dog is having a blast playing with her friends! Not to mention she is exhausted when she comes home and gets lots of rest. Thanks Shelley, for doing a great job for people like me who worry about their four legged family members!- Jennifer & Chloe Taunton, MA

We rescued Baxter from the pound: He was abused, is very skittish with new people, and is blind in one eye. Keeping him exercised and socialized plays a huge role in his ability to heal and act more like the happy, healthy beagle he should be! He took to daycare and especially Shelley right away, and absolutely loves it. At the end of the day he is tired and happy, and oftentimes curls up on the backseat for a nap during the car ride home. It is such a relief to know that for a day or so a week, Baxter is being supervised and loved by someone as caring and responsible as Shelley. We are thrilled to have The Executive Dog in our community. - Jen & Sean parents of Baxter, New Bedford, MA

I am one of The Executive Dog's biggest fans. I tell everyone, and I mean even total strangers, what a great experience it is for my 2 yr old Golden Retreiver to be able to spend a day running and playing with other dogs. Because I work full time, this is a great opportunity for my dog to get the exercise he needs and when he comes home he's exhausted. Shelley also does a wonderful job grooming and it's convenient to have it done while Riley is at daycare. Try the experience just for a day and your pet will beg to go back!!! - Lynda & Riley Mattapoisett, MA
We are indeed most pleased to say a few words on behalf of Shelley Moniz and her Executive Dog daycare, although, I’m not sure I can turn a phrase that will be quotable since it’s rather difficult to put a value on a happy family with a happy and well-adjusted, well-exercised, well-socialized puppy – that’s priceless! Piper visits Executive Dog during our work week from 8 – 5:30 and we are all very satisfied. Shelley cuts her nails once a week and grooms her when she needs it. We purchase package-pricing which makes it more affordable for us. If you’ve ever come home after a long, tiring day at work and found your dog eager to play, you know that the benefit of a full-service doggie daycare is “priceless” – it’s one-stop shopping, daycare, grooming, etc. Now with Executive Dog my husband and I, and our dog, are all at the same energy level come the end of a long day and our puppy gets the exercise and the socialization she needs, not to mention grooming when she’s wiry and we’ve not had the time to make a special trip to the groomer. - Lou & Claudette parents of Piper Dartmouth, MA

I think that like people, dogs need to have friends to interact with. I think they learn a lot from it. In their own home environment, they are the center of attraction, and at daycare, they have to share that space with their friends. - Dolores & Baxter Fairhaven, MA
Why I love Executive Dog:
I work long days and my husband works 2 jobs, we have no children so I wanted a dog to keep me company at night and on the weekends. We got Max at 8 weeks old and learned quickly how energetic he really is. He is so hyper it really makes him hard to handle after being home alone all day. He has all this built up energy and needs to release it. He literally would be bouncing off the walls and attacking the cat when I got home. We tried taking him for walks but that didn't do anything for him. At Executive Dog he is able to play with other dogs and run around all day. When I pick him up at the end of the day he is just the sweetest and most gentle dog. Shelley and the other dogs are able to give Max what he needs and what I am unable to give him. Shelley is very caring and cares for him like he is her own. By taking him to daycare Max is able to get all that energy out during the day and be my sweet little baby at night! - Kelly B & Max New Bedford, MA
Hi Shelley
Greetings from Jack et al in Fargo North Dakota. Thanks to Jack's socializing experiences with executive dog he has been able to tolerate this road trip with Scott, Bryan and I as we move from Massachusetts to Oregon. .. . Julie calls it the 2007 Special Needs Road Trip!!! He as now been in elevators, hotel rooms, ferry boats and has had to find places to play in new environments such as rest areas, green areas in cities and motel parking lots. We find that the barking collar really calms him down in stressful situations and that his experiences with other dogs and people has really helped. But he will dearly miss you and his group of dog playmates at executive dog. . . I guess that will have to be a fond memory of puppy hood as he turns one year old as we arrive in Oregon on September 14. Thanks again Shelley for all of your help and your special place for dogs. - The Morris family & Jack
